Stewart & Chari are general practitioners and have continued their professional education so that our patients can receive complete care under one roof. Comprehensive Care

• Digital X-rays that reduce radiation exposure to patients and eliminate film processing chemicals that pollute our environment
• Basic restorative care with composite resin (white) filling material.
• Major restorative care with laboratory fabricated crowns; veneers and onlays made from porcelain and cast precious metal (gold, platinum & palladium).
• Tooth replacement with dental implants, bridges and dentures.

We believe cosmetic dentistry is a philosophy, not a specialty.
Cosmetic services are not a separate part of our practice. All of our treatment and care is aimed at improving and correcting esthetic issues as well as the elimination and control of dental disease. Certainly, there are frequent occasions where the client wishes treatment for strictly cosmetic reasons and we are proud of the results that we have achieved for our patients.
Through the use of digital photography and a proven technique of analyzing your smile, we can plan out cosmetic corrections to meet your expectations before we commence treatment. Our portfolio of “Before and After” photos will give you an appreciation of numerous options that we have to offer in making changes that fit your budget.

Unfortunately, there are people whose dental health has suffered severe deterioration. The correction of this situation is often complex and requires treatment in many of the different areas of dentistry. At Mount Joy Dental, Dr. Stewart and Dr. Chari have treated many such patients successfully. This is our primary focus for all our patients. The vast majority of dental care problems can be avoided or minimized by early detection and implementing preventive treatment. Emergency Care

Unfortunately, unexpected accidents and problems can arise. Mount Joy Dental is committed to providing our clients with immediate treatment of these situations. Our appointment schedule reserves time each working day for emergency appointments. After hours, our voice mail system allows you to contact Dr. Stewart or Dr. Chari.

We will see friends and relatives of our clients on the same basis. We want our patients to be able to avoid the emergency rooms of the hospitals or to have to search the phone book for a dental office that is open.
